Weekend Shenanigans

Weekend Shenanigans

Hey y'all! This was a crazy weekend for sure! Here's the rundown of how things went!

1. Margaritaville

This was the first time since July 4, 2015 that this mama has had a drink. It was so yummy! The first one I ordered was WAY too strong so I switched with one of our friends + even after one I was done haha! This potato soup though was amazing!

2. Farmer's Market

FINALLY! We made it to the farmer's market! Every Saturday since we've lived here I've forgotten about the farmer's market. I was so happy we went because they had some great stuff! This little Camper Cafe is by far my favorite, they had amazing Vanilla Chai Tea.

3. Fitbit Charge 2

So after my physical therapy on Friday, my therapist suggested I try a fitbit to keep track of my heart rate. I love this little beauty! It tells you the time, how many steps you have taken, your heart rate + so much more! This is definitely part of my everyday routine now.

4. Halloween Prep

I spent a few hours this weekend working on Halloween costumes + stuff for the party this weekend. I CAN NOT wait! I'm so excited!

5. ER Visit

Soooo this is not how I wanted to spend my Saturday night, but here we were. It all started when I was walking into the bathroom + started to feel my heart race and my head spinning. I decided to just lay down because I was afraid I would pass out. The rest is sort of a blur. I remember crying because my body hurt + not being able to breathe. I was banging on the cabinets trying to get someone to come back + help me. Finally, after what seemed like a lifetime (about an hour) my husband came back + picked me up. He started panicking + I just remember him running around. Our friend Ken said that I looked like I was convulsing + like I was choking on my tongue. Yea....don't remember that part. Well my husband drove me to the ER + they took me to a room. They regulated my breathing + hooked me up to a bunch of monitors. My BP was normal, my heart rate was through the roof + oxygen was normal. They ran some tests and turns out my TSH levels are nonexistent,

6. Wellness Advocate

I am so excited! I became a Wellness Advocate for doTERRA this weekend! I can't wait to see where this goes! I love sharing oils with my family + friends!

7. Turkey Creek

My husband wanted so badly to get out of the house, so we decided to check out Turkey Creek. It was so beautiful! The boys had a great time + it was perfect to just walk along the path.

This was definitely an adventurous weekend! Till next time!
