For years I've wanted to do a vintage WWII inspired 1940's photoshoot. It's my favorite era and I just love the aesthetic of the time. So when I found out we were going to be moving to Okinawa, I knew I had to jump on the opportunity before we left my friend and our favorite photographer. She was totally on board and supported all my crazy ideas. She did both color and black and white which I love. She even did black and white film for me! Which I still need to develop...
Anyways, lets get into it! This is by far my favorite shoot we've ever done. I just love these so much.
First I'll start with the color.
Now onto the black and white! I have a hard time picking a favorite, they're both so beautiful! There's something so classic and vintage about the black and white that I just love so much.
I just have to say, I think we nailed it and I think the era suits us! I'm just so happy with how all of these turned out. Have you ever done a themed shoot? What's your favorite era? Let me know!
