How in the world are my first babies already FOUR?! These past four years have flown by and so much has changed. Not only in how much they've grown, but in how I've grown as a mama.
Looking back, I've learned SO much and instead of feeling guilty for some of the ways I handled things, I've realized that when you know better you do better. These two have taught me how to be a more patient, empathetic mama and I'm forever grateful for that.
Over the last year we have had a lot of change. We've moved into an RV full time, added a new baby to the family, and are getting ready to transition out of the active duty military lifestyle.
These boys have taken it all in stride. They're amazing big brothers (especially Liam, who is OBSESSED with baby sister) and are learning something new everyday.

Oh my strong and opinionated little man. You're so smart and sarcastic (wonder where you get that from). I love to just watch you figure things out, wether it be a puzzle or color sorting blocks. You love to help mama "organize" the laundry and declutter. I definitely know you're my son. You're a great workout buddy, expert towel folder and lego destroyer. You're the sweetest big brother to your sister and are always making sure she's happy. You truly are the oldest brother, always ready to lead your siblings. You're especially helpful when Bentley is confused. Daddy and I always joke that you're Bentley's life coach. I hope you always keep that leadership spirit.
Although they are genetically identical, these two are SO different! That's one of my favorite things about being a twin mama.
Bentley
You are such a kind and sensitive soul. You love to keep up with your wild brothers and they push you outside of your comfort zone daily. You're definitely the goof ball of the bunch and are constantly making silly faces to make your siblings laugh. I love that you love books and cuddling (right up mama's alley). Your brain is so unique and I love watching those wheels turn. You're a lego expert and I'm constantly amazed at what you create from your own imagination. You love all things wildlife and I think you'll be our gun enthusiast, always pretending to "hunt" in the trees. You're one of the sweetest, most kind people. You teach me everyday to be patient and understanding. I hope you always keep that sweet spirit.
We haven't taken them to the doctor since they were sick, but they're hovering somewhere around 28 lbs and 37.5 in tall. They still aren't on the growth charts (less than 1 percentile). We saw a pediatric RD (my friend Laura) who has helped us try and set up a prescription for toddler formula to help them grow. It's been a bit of a struggle since they're so picky in what they'll eat. We've come a long way, but we have a long way to go. Some days are better than others and some are just plain rough.
I can't wait to see what 2020 has in store for us!
Until next time!
